NEILL RHODES

DETAILS
Neill Rhodes has worked in IT since 1998. He began his career as a Unix engineer before moving into management in 2007, and has since led teams of engineers and, more recently, a team of project managers. He graduated from the University of Hull with a BEng in Electronic Engineering.
Neill was born in 1976 and travelled a great deal while growing up, as his father worked for Shell. He settled in Bracknell some 20 years ago and is married with one daughter.
Neill loves making things and has converted his garage into a well-equipped workshop for woodworking, metalworking and other crafts. He has recently put these skills to use for Ad Astra Lodge, making a semi-functional Back to the Future time clock and a Star Trek computer that displays the lodge summons.
Neill joined Freemasonry in 2010 in Bracknell Lodge No. 6702. He has twice been its Worshipful Master and is currently its Secretary. He is also a member of Ascot Chapter No. 2460, Ad Astra Lodge No. 6451, Valentia Mark Lodge No. 623 and Wokingham Council No. 125 of Royal and Select Masters.
“As Provincial Grand Communications Officer, my role is to plan and manage our internal and external communications, and our interaction with United Grand Lodge of England. I look forward to building on the work of my predecessor, drawing on my background in IT and project management, and helping the Province share the news and achievements of its lodges, chapters and members.”
