On Sunday 13th August 2023, held in the wonderful Wallingford Masonic Centre (opened in 1882) saw 122 Freemasons, their friends and families, gather for the annual BBQ.
It was organised by the Provincial Membership and Mentoring teams and will go ahead again next year as it’s proving very popular.
Everyone was treated to an excellent spread of food, prepared by one of the Directors of the Wallingford Centre, Colin Gilbey. The smiles mixed with the sounds of enjoyment and that great BBQ smell.
A great day that was enjoyed by all who took part. Many thanks to the Provincial Membership Officer Steve, the Current Provincial Mentor and the ‘incoming’ Mentor, Owen. Especial thanks to Kevan Neville and Craig Godwin for being this year’s organisers. There was £150 profit this year and the Organisers have given this to the First Cholsey Scout Group to help them with camping trips for Scouts in the coming year.
