UGLE Annual Investiture 2022

Berkshire Province was well represented at the Annual Investiture at Freemasons’ Hall on 27th April. The Grand Master, HRH The Duke of Kent, presided at the meeting.



The following Brethren, who are Members of Berkshire Lodges, received honours:

  • Jim Sampins, Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, was promoted to the acting rank of AGDC.
  • Graham Seeman, Past Provincial Grand Organist, was honoured with the acting rank of DepGOrg.
  • Rabbi Zvi Solomons received the acting rank of AGChap.
  • Sean Kulan, Provincial Grand Almoner, and Raymond Alexander, Past Provincial Senior Grand Warden, were both appointed PAGDC.
  • Adrian Robson, Provincial Grand Almoner in Somerset Province and a founder Member of Constructors’ Lodge and the Gourmet Lodge, was appointed PAGStdB.
  • Martin Kemble was promoted to PAGDC.

After the Investiture, the Provincial Grand Master for Berkshire, RWBro. Anthony Charles Howlett-Bolton OBE, alongside the Provincial Executive, those who received an appointment or promotion and guests, including PastPGM Digby Woods and Iain Marnock who is to be appointed APGM in September, enjoyed dinner at Tuttons Wine Bar in Covent Garden.


A grand time was had by all!
