Berkshire Freemasons Support Windsor Pride with Pride

Brethren from across Berkshire volunteered last weekend to help marshal the Windsor Pride parade—and were warmly welcomed for their efforts in keeping the public safe along the route.

Paired up along key points of the parade—The Long Walk, Windsor Castle, the Queen Victoria Monument, the Theatre Royal, and the River Thames—our members were tasked with guiding parade participants and ensuring that spectators remained safely off the road.

Dressed in bright yellow Freemasons in the Community hi-vis vests, we were a highly visible and approachable presence throughout the day.

Our aim was simple: to be friendly, helpful, and tolerant—demonstrating that Freemasonry is inclusive and supportive of the wider community.

We were pleased to receive praise from both the event organisers and the public for the professional and positive way we carried out our duties. As the parade concluded, we joined the procession back to Alexandra Gardens and the festival village, where some well-earned refreshments awaited.

Our Provincial Gazebo was also proudly stationed at the festival village, staffed by members of Theodore White Temperance Lodge in Windsor, ready to welcome and chat with curious members of the public.
