Summer might be here but, our summer golf day definitely is!
Our summer golf day is being held at Calcot Park Golf Club on Tuesday 16th July. Whilst not Open standard, it is a good test of golf and an ideal warm up for your viewing of the 152nd Open Championship, which starts at Royal Troon on Thursday 18th July.
The details of the day and the entry sheet can be accessed by using the button below. The summary of the day is:
- Teams of three with team and individual prizes
- Stableford scoring with a maximum handicap of 24 unless your WHI is greater than that
- Open to Berkshire Masons, their guest (including ladies and juniors) as well as masons from neighbouring provinces
- DIFFERENT arrangements
- Full Breakfast from 10:30 and first tee from 11:30
- No meal afterwards just a short prize giving with an aim to finish by 18:00
- Cost for the day £72
Other golf days
Other masonic golf societies are holding golf days that are open to Berkshire Masonic Golfers; one that might be of interest is being held by The Province of Wiltshire. Their Charity Day is on 13th August at Wrag Barn Golf Club, near Shrivenham. This is a great day’s golf followed by an excellent two course carvery all for the cost of £65 per person. For the entry form, follow the link below.
The Surrey Mark Province is holding a Golf Day at Cobham Golf Club on 29th July in aid of their Mark Charity. I do not have full details but, if you are interested, please email using the Contact Secretary button.
