Royal Arch Representative Conference

by Peter Wells

On Thursday 9th November 2023 over 40 Brethren gathered at Sindlesham for the re-launch of the Royal Arch Representative scheme in Berkshire Freemasonry.

The RA representative role is mission critical and is primarily focussed on answering questions about the Royal Arch, explaining and enthusing Master Masons  (who have yet to complete their Masonic journey) and encouraging them to join the Order. Also, the role is to reintroduce RA Companions who have become ‘unattached’ to re-join a Berkshire Chapter and re-engage with their Royal Arch Masonry.

The theme of the evening was to listen, learn and share ideas and best practice – of which there were many great examples. These discussions were both enlightening and very enjoyable, for all present.

Every RA representative has now been furnished with a  ‘toolkit’ of information to help him perform his task. Those unable to attend will be sent the ‘toolkit’ in due course. Paul Wilding or I are very willing to answer any questions and help in any way possible.

If you are a Master Mason of four weeks or more, you are eligible to join. Please speak to your Lodge Royal Arch Representative directly or email pgse@bpgc.org.uk
