Congratulations on fprming the erkshire Royal Arch Companions Club.
That being said, I would like to draw your attention to a common mistake when referring to the HRA. That is to state that it is the fourth and last degree in freemasonary. I’m afraid that the ritual books in the various Chapters I have been a member of over the past 30 years or so stae quite clearly in the MEZ’s address to the Elevatee thet “you may consider the you have, this evening taken your Fourth Regukar step in Freemasonary. tHIS IS NOT THE CASE, You have completed the third degree”. Now, the wards may vary from province to province but the sentiment should remain the same as in former years.
Sorry to be a bit of a grumble but let’s get it right from the get go, please.
Kind Regards
Christopher James
I would be interested to see where on the Berkshire Provial website you have found an example of someone referring to Exaltation as the 4th degree. Particularly when in Royal Arch we specifically do not take a step.
