Gourmet Lodge holds its first Installation Meeting

Assistant Provincial Grand Master W Bro Matthew Walker presided at the meeting held in The Chapel on the Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor on 26th October. He was attended by Provincial Senior Grand Warden W Bro Steve Field and W Bro Marcus Hisldon PPDepGDC

Primus Master W Bro John Nixon PastAPGM installed his successor W Bro Bruce McKenzie-Boyle PAGDC at a very well-attended meeting with over 70 members and their guests in attendance. Musical accompaniment at the meeting and during the Festive Board was provided by Piper W Bro Angus Ingram. The Inner Working ceremony was much enhanced by the presentation of Installed Master’s working tools by W Bro Nick Carter.

Following the meeting, the brethren enjoyed an excellent Festive Board in the magnificent 19th-century Chapel on the estate. In his response to the Worshipful Master’s toast, W Bro Bruce paid tribute to the excellent medical treatment his wife Tina had been receiving and that charitable funds during his year would be donated to St Luke’s Cancer Centre, Guildford to enable them to continue their excellent work.

The next meeting of Gourmet Lodge will be at Cliveden near Maidenhead on 22nd March 2023.
