Roaring Success at the 37th Annual Reading Toy Run 2023

In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Thames Valley Motorcycle Lodge number 9885 and Berkshire Freemasons joined forces to support and help marshal the 37th annual Reading Toy Run 2023 this past Sunday. The event, held in aid of Barnardo’s and various local charities, witnessed an impressive turnout of 1025 bikes, trikes, quads, and even a fire engine, echoing the generosity and camaraderie of the motorcycling community.

Despite the chilly weather, the riders brought warmth and joy as they revved their engines, ready to deliver happiness to children in need. Among the impressive convoy, 968 vehicles proudly displayed just 2 wheels, showcasing the diversity and passion within the motorcycle community.

Notably, the event saw not only riders but also 269 pillions and passengers contributing to the festive procession.

The support from Thames Valley Motorcycle Lodge number 9885 and Berkshire Freemasons underscores our commitment to make a positive impact in the community. As the engines roared and the parade of goodwill traversed the streets of Reading, the 37th annual Toy Run proved once again that the power of unity and compassion can make a significant difference in the lives of those less fortunate. With Barnardo’s and local charities benefiting from this display of generosity, the Reading Toy Run continues to be a shining example of how the spirit of giving can transform a simple ride into a meaningful contribution to the community.
