Brethren of Berkshire PSA Testing

by Sean Kulan & Liam Kenny

Would you benefit from a blood test to check on your prostate health?

To learn more about whether you would benefit from a PSA test (Prostate-Specific Antigen) please see http://www.mypsatests.org.uk/ There is currently no prostate cancer screening programme on the NHS.

Please, don’t let something so treatable go unnoticed. (If you’re over 50 you should consider having a PSA test. Or if you are Black or you have a family history of prostate cancer, this can also increase your risk – so you may want to speak to your GP about having a PSA test from the age of 45.)

Brethren of Berkshire PSA Testing 2026

I am delighted to confirm that PSA testing will again take place next year for Berkshire freemasons. The testing will again be in the capable hands of the Graham Fulford Charitable Trust and his team.  As in previous years the GFCT team will be assisted and looked after on the day by W Bro’s David Jarvis, Jimmy Edmundson, Mike Hennessy, Rob Wilkinson and myself. Testing is also open to all Masonic family and friends.  I am also delighted to confirm that the Berkshire Masonic Charity have agreed to subsidise the cost of a test from £28 to £20.  However, if you would like to give a cash donation on the day to the BMC, it will be gratefully received.
