Upcoming Meetings

Ashdown Lodge is a group of very friendly and welcoming people that enjoy all aspects of Freemasonry.  Consecrated in 1974 in what was the county of Berkshire, it takes its name from Ashdown House which is located between Ashbury and Lambourne.

We embrace and encourage the social side of Freemasonry and as well as enjoying the festive board after the meetings with members and visitors alike, Ashdown have regular social events involving friends and family (including non-masons) such as ladies’ nights, day trips and evening get togethers.  All the events and meetings have a common theme, a group of very friendly people getting together to socialise and have a great time.  In other words, we like to have fun!

Ashdown members believe in donating generously to causes near and far, supporting local groups and assisting where needed nationally and abroad. We are very proud of our contribution to society both in terms of time and money.

We also enjoy the ceremonial aspect of Freemasonry.  We take great pride in the quality of our historic ritual and are extremely supportive to all members in the lodge room.

Our meetings are held at the Masonic Hall, Gloucester Street, Faringdon, on the third Thursday in September, October, November, January, February, and March and we dine at the historic Corn Exchange building just down the road.
